Education Workshops this month...

This month our Education team delivered a workshop in Holyrood High School, running our hydrogen cars workshop and marketing challenge. This gave us the opportunity to introduce our business, show how the renewable energy technologies we use work, and challenge them to use the skills that would be required of them in a business environment.

We also took part in the STEM Challenge Event in Dalkeith High School, where we ran our wind turbine workshop for S1 pupils. This was one of the contributions of three workshops, from
Morrison Construction and Standard Life. Pupils split into groups and rotated around the different challenges. The pupils had a fantastic time as did the demonstrators.

Levenmouth Community Energy Project

We are continuing our hard work for the Levenmouth Community Energy Project through the development and integration of a smart-grid network with our hydrogen storage system and facilitating sustainable transport for companies in Fife with our fleet of 17 dual fuel vehicles.

The Business Partnership Exhibition and awards dinner:

This month the Bright Green Hydrogen team attended the Enterprise Exhibition Awards Dinner. This was a chance to see all the great work achieved by businesses and individuals throughout East and Midlothian. Congratulations to all highly commended and winning businesses!
Coming up in November...

This November expect to see us at Dundee Science Festival, where we are running a workshop for families at Dundee Science Centre. For this, our education team have designed a fun and interactive activity that suits the theme of 'Animals and the Environment'.

We are also running our Hydrogen challenge, an event where S3 pupils participate in an alternative energies adventure! This will be held at the Fife Renewables Innovation Centre and the designs are to be assessed by a panel of judges.
We are continuing our school visits to communicate the importance of renewable energies. If you are interested in a school visit, please contact our education team using the details below.
